So as a few of you know, from reading my journal I and a few others got to go to a concert. It was a - Blue October Stamp - by toonartt concert.

And guys, I gotta tell you it was...amazing.

Some of you that are my friends and have known me for a long time. Know that I've been a fan of this bad for a long time.

Just...I'll break down my day for you.

That day everything was crazy, we were scared that Anna wouldn't be able to get into the Meet & Greet because she didn't have her ID. (there a stuff with parking too.) But the bouncer there was so nice he let Anna use her debt card. ;u; it was wonderful. But we stood in line waiting to be let in and to be about to meet them for what seemed like forever. And we were all so cold (well other than Anna and Tristan) But once we got in they played some sound check songs and it was wonderful. (it was already 5:30 almost now. We had got there at 4:30) And then we got to wait in line and get signed posters, and later a picture with them. But I gotta say I was like...so happy and just I can't describe it. Meeting Justin and the others was so moving.

When I was still in highschool, and very depressed (borderline suicidal) where getting up from bed was the hardest thing. I listened to their music, it was there when I felt alone. When even my own mother made everything worse. Because their music expressed the same sadness and pain that I was feeling. And then it told me that I was strong, and that I would get through it even if it felt like I couldn't. Anyway back to the story.

After the meet and greet we spent what was until almost 8:00 standing around waiting to be able to go stand by the stage for the show to start. We were all complaining about how much our feet or legs hurt. But that we were still excited, we joked a bit and waiting ready to pretty much run to the front, and that's what we did when they said we could go to the stage to finish out our waiting. Anna and I managed to get at the gate that was the only thing between us and the bands. That was amazing.

But the first band came up "The Architects" They pumped up the how very crammed little Concert hall. They was full of a lot of energy and just made everything pumped up even though it was a Tuesday. But after, and during the time that staff ran around on stage getting "Blue October" set up, I was on pins and needles.

They walked out on stage to the intro of one of their songs and started to play and even though I was SUPER hot, tired and in pain still from standing for hours. I was moved, they played some of the same songs I would listen to in my darkest hours. and I was lost in it. It was borderline spiritual seeing the band play the songs and to see the emotions it brought back for the lead singer Justin. It brought some of the same ones for me as well. But I got into it so much, I sang every song with him and knew every word. After a while I couldn't feel (or probably just ignored all of the pain XD ) the pain. I was too lost in the loud music and the lyrics. It was pretty much the most beautiful thing I got to be apart of. (which may sound over the top or cheesy, but hey, least I was the girl that was sobbing uncontrollably after she met them all)

After the show, we all went and bought some of The Architects' merc got it signed and then waited in the mob of people to get to shake Justin's hand and have a few more things signed.
(I got my wallet and a CD)

That is so amazing! I'm happy to hear that you had a great time at that concert! ;u; <33

I've never been to a concert personally, but I'm gonna get to this summer and this isn't
the first concert-related journal I've read. Reading everyone else's stories makes me all
the more excited! >o<
