I have been wanting to write some angst so...here! 

If you're curious, something pretty close happens for real in their relationship. 

Kirei had gotten close to someone before when she was a younger soul and it cost that person their life, by her hand. 

She doesn't get close to people and stay because then she hurts them...She has a bit of warped logic when it comes to this stuff but enjoy...
